Chi siamo?

When I was a little girl, growing in Venosa, in the province of Potenza, in Basilicata, my mother would put a big bow in my hair.

From that point on, everyone would call me 'the little girl with the big bow!"

Ora? Now?
Ora tutti mi chiamano La Maestra col sorriso grande!
Now, everyone calls me The Teacher with the big smile!

E tu? And you?
What is distinctive about your face or about your clothing?

  4. The picture is not mine, but something I found that reminded me of me. Someone else had the big bow!

  5. I am so sorry that I have not been here lately - I am so behind that I am not sure if I will ever catch up.

Work has been crazy and I end up working in the evenings after dinner. Weekends are busy because I am training to run a half marathon - so I run long miles on saturday morning and then recover rest of the weekend :)

But I selfishly do hope that you won't close this blog. I must make time to be here regularly.

    love,
    Bhavana

When I was a little girl, I like very much to talk. My grandmother gave me the name of "chatterbox."

I have a terrible time with the past tenses. I still talk like a little girl...kind of at the "See Giuseppe run" stage using mainly present tense with words like "yesterday" or "many years ago" to set the comment in time!

  8. Patricia, hang in there! I shall take my lessons slowly into the various tenses, kind of sliding in the pool without feeling the change in temperature.

Grazie Eleonora, e i signori Dual e UIF! Sempre gentili!
